§ 38-67. Handicapped.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person except a person who is physically handicapped, who has obtained a special license plate decal which is properly displayed on their vehicle, to park in any parking space on public or private property in areas designated for handicapped persons. If a motor vehicle does not have the special decal on the vehicle license plate or the parking certificate on the vehicle dashboard, then the driver of the vehicle is in violation of the provisions of this article and shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined for each violation.
